The Ways Of Dajjal (1)
Narrated 'Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) Allah's Apostle used to invoke Allah in the prayer saying "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min adhabil-qabri, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatil-masihid-dajjal, wa a'udhu bika min fitnatil-mahya wa fitnatil-mamati. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-ma thami wal-maghrami. (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave and from the afflictions of Masi,h Ad-Dajjal and from the afflictions of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the sins and from being in debt)." Somebody said to him, "Why do you so frequently seek refuge with Allah from being in debt?" The Prophet replied, "A person in debt tells lies whenever he speaks, and breaks promises whenever he makes (them)." 'Aisha also narrated: I heard Allah's Apostle in his prayer seeking refuge with Allah from the afflictions of Ad-dajjal.
(Al Bukhari; Book #12, Hadith #795)
(i.e. The ways of Dajjal induces men to be in debt – so as to be wide-opened to his attack - for life)
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Umar and a group of the companions of the Prophet set out with the Prophet to (visit) Ibn Saiyad. He found him playing with some boys near the hillocks of Bani Maghala. Ibn Saiyad at that time was nearing his puberty. He did not notice (the Prophet's presence) till the Prophet stroked him on the back with his hand and said, "Ibn Saiyad! Do you testify that I am Allah's Apostle?"
Ibn Saiyad looked at him and said, "I testify that you are the Apostle of the illiterates." (i.e. Ibn Sayiyad recognised the Prophet s.a.w.)
Then Ibn Saiyad asked the Prophet. "Do you testify that I am the apostle of Allah?" (i.e. Ibn Saiyad had the minds and heart of Dajjal … his body is that of a human being, but his soul is that of Dajjal.)
The Prophet said to him, "I believe in Allah and His Apostles."
Then the Prophet said (to Ibn Saiyad). "What do you see?" (i.e. Rasulullah saw put him to the test. If Ibn Saiyad sees with Dajjal’s sight, he will respond accordingly)
Ibn Saiyad replied, "True people and false ones visit me." (i.e. Dajjal, sees truth as false, and false as truth - Ibn Saiyad has responded as Dajjal would)
The Prophet said, "Your mind is confused as to this matter." (i.e. Dajjal’s mind projects deceptions to confuse his victim’s minds: to identify truth as falsehood, and falsehood as truth)
The Prophet added, " I have kept something (in my mind) for you." (i.e. to test him further and to confirm his suspicion about Ibn Saiyad’s reality, Rasulullah saw induces Ibn Saiyad to betrey himself by reading Rasulullah’s mind)
Ibn Saiyad said, "It is Ad-Dukh." (i.e. Ad-Dukhan being one of the 10 major signs of The Sa’at)
The Prophet said (to him), "Shame be on you! You cannot cross your limits." (i.e. shame on you for you are being discovered, your is camouflage being seen throuhg. You cannot cross your limit i.e. Your ability to deceive other is limited by Providence. You are bound to be discovered. You are bound to be destroyed.)
On that 'Umar said, "O Allah's Apostle! Allow me to chop his head off."
The Prophet said, "If he should be him (i.e. Ad-Dajjal) then you cannot overpower him, and should he not be him, then you are not going to benefit by killing him (now)."
(Sahih Bukhari; Book #52, Hadith #290d)
